Question 1

How much does bookkeeping cost?

Monthly bookkeeping starts at $350/month for up to 4 accounts and 100 transactions. Question 2

What is included in the $350 monthly bookkeeping plan?

Accepted Answer

The base plan includes up to 4 bank and credit card accounts, up to 100 transactions per month, monthly bank and credit card reconciliation, transaction categorization, and monthly financial reports (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet). A dedicated accounting professional is assigned to your account.

Question 3

Do you work with businesses outside Florida?

Accepted Answer

Yes. While we are based in Southern Florida, we provide services nationwide. All work is done remotely through QuickBooks Online and secure document sharing, so location is never a barrier.

Question 4

Do you replace my CPA?

Accepted Answer

No - we complement your CPA. We handle the day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting so your CPA has clean, accurate records to work from at tax time. Many clients find that clean books reduce their CPA fees significantly.

Question 5

Can you clean up previous years?

Accepted Answer

Yes. QuickBooks cleanup is one of our core services. We review your file, correct misclassifications, reconcile accounts, and establish a reliable foundation going forward. Cleanup is priced at $4 per transaction reviewed with a minimum engagement of $750. Final pricing is determined after an initial review of your QuickBooks file.

Question 6

Can you take over bookkeeping from my current bookkeeper?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We handle the transition professionally - reviewing the existing file, identifying any issues, and establishing a clean, consistent process going forward. We make the handoff as smooth as possible.

Question 7

Do you work with QuickBooks Desktop?

Accepted Answer

Our primary platform is QuickBooks Online, which offers real-time access, cloud-based collaboration, and the most up-to-date features. If you are currently on QuickBooks Desktop, we can discuss a migration to QuickBooks Online as part of onboarding.

Question 8

Can you handle multiple businesses or entities?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have experience with multi-entity accounting, including intercompany transactions and consolidated reporting. Each entity is priced separately based on its own account and transaction volume.

Question 9

Do you provide payroll?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Payroll management starts at $100/month for up to 5 employees, with $8 per additional employee per month. Additional payroll runs outside the normal schedule are billed separately. Payroll software (e.g. QuickBooks Payroll) is billed separately and not included in the service fee.

Question 10

What is the difference between bookkeeping, Controller services, and CFO advisory?

Accepted Answer

Bookkeeping keeps your financial records accurate and current. Controller services add oversight - ensuring the accounting operation, month-end close, and financial reporting are functioning correctly. CFO advisory uses that financial information to help ownership plan, forecast, and make strategic business decisions. We offer all three, and many clients grow from one tier to the next as their business scales.

Question 11

Will I have a dedicated bookkeeper?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every client is assigned a dedicated accounting professional who learns your business, maintains consistency in your books, and is your primary point of contact for questions and reporting.

Question 12

How quickly can you get started?

Accepted Answer

After your free consultation and onboarding, most clients are up and running within one to two weeks. The timeline depends on the complexity of your books and whether a cleanup is needed before ongoing services begin.
